Exciting new programmes are being developed to provide additional support to students in these areas. One of the challenges facing secondary schools is the introduction of NCEA co-requisites in both of these areas. Without the successful completion of these standards, students are unable to pass Level 1, 2 or 3. These programmes are designed to address these changes and support students to achieve in these areas. They could also give primary teachers an insight into the NCEA changes that students are facing as they transition into secondary schooling.
